Hello charming guys and beautiful girls. How are you? I’m sorry if I haven’t updated for several days now, I.. I don’t know what to blog, I guess. 
However, a lot of things happened - as always.
First, thank you for voting for me. I’m sure that helped a lot. I’m also thankful for those who kept on campaigning it through their friends until their friends’ friends. 
Now, it’s awkward that most of my classmates in this particular class knows about the contest. Hehe!
Second, I have joined the Twilight bandwagon! I was able to finish Twilight in less than 24 hours and will hopefully do the same thing with New Moon today. I can’t manage to read the book during weekdays because of classes, so I allowed myself to forget all things academic and indulge Stephenie’s writing during Saturdays. Thank you to Powerbooks for keeping books available. 
Third, I can’t remember what happened in the past few weeks. 
This short term memory loss (STML) is starting to get alarming. Haha! My mind is just, constantly, drifts away in a far away land while walking in the lands of reality. And whoosh! I can’t remember anything anymore unless reminded.

I’m currently, trying to my best effort, driving my way to school and back everyday. I need to do so because my mom threatened me that she will no longer lend me one of his drivers. So, almost everyday,
I drive along with my driver in the passenger seat. On my last drive, it was almost 8PM and obviously, it was raining hard a few hours ago that day. Some areas affected by the MWSI sewerage
so-called improvement were flooded.
One particular area was Taft Ave. corner Quirino Avenue, near McDonald’s. I was coming from the DLSU -Taft area and I need to make a right turn to go to McDonald’s, since that road will take me to my house. Obviously, I need to be on the right lane but it was flooded (Flooded in a sense that I can’t really see the ground). It’ll be very stupid of me to go straight into the flooded area because I might end up in one big hole, if there is. So i had to think quick, went to the left-most lane - to evade - and took a sharp right turn even if the light is still in red.
It’s my first time to break the rules of traffic! Karma suddenly came back when a police officer came to me. He said he was stopping me but I’m sorry, I didn’t see him. He was in a navy blue uniform and it was pit black in that area. I apologize and just told him that I wanted to pee as soon as possible since my house was very near now. What a pathetic lie! I only have PHP100.00 in my pocket, nothing more. I know he wanted to raise the price around PHP500 but I am just a student with a driver on the other seat.
In the end, he still took it. Then a fast moment of realization came into mind.
Say hello to people like me who unintentionally support corruption. In my defense though, corruption is always present in any system anyway. And besides, the officer’s purpose wasn’t to give me a lesson but to get something from my pocket. I can’t blame him though. No one can but it made me realize how sad our country is.
Random Question: They say that change starts from us, well I say it’s wrong. It begins from the higher authority - if they give us more money, will we even resort into corruption?

Natawa talaga ko sa excuse na sinabi mo sa police, sabagay estudyante ka lang diba saka walang silang karapatan na manghingi ng lagay pero totoo din sinabi mo na kung hindi dahil sa mga taong nakapaligid sa administration ngayun sana hindi malala ang corruption.

see this is what i LOVE and HATE about the philippines. i love it because you can get away with anything as long as you have moolah, but then it’s sad because… you know why.
